Financial planning fees range from $500 to $10,000, or $150 to $300 per hour, depending on complexity. Investment advisory fees are based on a percentage of assets under management. The standard AUM fee is 1.25% for assets under $250,000, 1.00% for assets between $250,000 and $3,500,000, and 0.80% for assets over $3,500,000. Fees are negotiable. The annual AUM fee is prorated and paid monthly, in arrears, based on the average daily balance.
