If the market value of the assets under management is less than $500,000.00 on the initial billing date, an annual fee of 1.25% will apply to all assets under management. Should the market value of the assets under management decrease below $500,000.00 after a lower rate has been previously applied, MCF will honor the lower rate.
MCF's fees are based on a combination of fixed and asset-based fees, depending on the services you choose. Financial planning fees range from $200 to $1,000 or more per month. Investment management fees are based on the assets managed, with a rate of 1.25% applying to all assets under management if the market value of the assets under management is less than $500,000.00 on the initial billing date. Tax return preparation has a minimum fee of $625 per engagement. MCF also offers private investment funds with potentially reduced management fees for large commitments. Envestnet managed account programs have additional fees of 2 to 10 basis points per account, with a $50 minimum annual fee per account. Many clients have grandfathered fee schedules that may be higher or lower than the current schedule.
