You can receive financial planning services billed annually, monthly, hourly (from $250 to $1,000 per hour), or by fixed fee. There may be a one-time onboarding fee. For asset management, you'll pay a percentage of your assets under management. For example, the first $2,000,000 is charged 1.00% annually. Fees are negotiable. In addition to advisory fees, clients will be assessed other fees by parties independent from the advisor, such as brokerage fees.
