Fee Structure
TSA charges fees quarterly, either in advance or arrears, depending on the client relationship. Fees are based on a percentage of the market value of assets. Some third-party platforms may have different billing arrangements. American Funds have a flat 1% annual advisory fee (0.5% for 529 plans). Marstone program has a flat 0.5% annual advisory fee, plus a 0.25% Marstone platform fee and a 0.10% Pershing administrative fee. CUNY Portfolio Program fees range from 0.55% to 0.75% depending on the account balance. Pershing Tier I and II fees range from 0.5% to 1.5% depending on the program and account size, and are negotiable for accounts over $500,000 or $1,000,000. Pershing Tier III has a flat 1.4% fee. Lockwood fees vary depending on the manager selected, typically ranging from 0.20% to 0.75% for managers and 0.15% to 0.65% for Lockwood.
