KCIA charges fees based on a percentage of assets under management. For individual accounts, the fee is 2.00% on the first $1,000,000, 1.50% on amounts between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000, and 1.25% on amounts over $5,000,000. These fees are negotiable. For institutional retirement accounts, fees range from 1.250% to 0.500% depending on the asset range. KCIA generally requires a minimum investment of $50,000, but may waive this requirement. They also charge hourly fees for project-specific work, ranging from $100 to $300 per hour. Financial planning fees are $250 per hour or a fixed fee between $1,500 and $3,000.
