About This Firm
ZIM manages investment advisory accounts primarily on a discretionary basis, including separate accounts, public and private pooled investment vehicles, and wrap-fee programs. They offer various investment strategies under the Retail Wealth Management Program and alternative investment strategies. ZIM also provides model portfolio investment recommendations without brokerage execution or additional services.
Fee Structure
ZIM charges annual asset-based fees, payable quarterly in advance. The specific percentage varies depending on the program (Retail Wealth Management, Global Tactical Strategy, Premier Select Strategy, Zacks Strategies Direct) and the amount of assets managed. Clients invested in individual fixed-income securities have a different fee schedule. Fees may be negotiable. Clients also incur trading costs and custodial fees. Some clients may be subject to a lower fee schedule if they engage ZIM directly rather than using a ZIM Investment Consultant or RVP. The minimum to open a Zacks Advantage account is $5,000. To open a Wealth Management Program account, a client must place equity assets with a value of at least $500,000. For individual fixed-income securities accounts, a client must place assets with a value of at least $500,000.
