American Financial Management, Ltd. (AFM) provides asset allocation and risk management services on a discretionary basis, in addition to financial planning. They work with clients to assess risks, objectives, and suitability, designing portfolios to meet client goals. AFM invests through mutual funds and has a managed stock account invested in stocks and ETFs.
Fee Structure
Management fees and minimum account sizes are subject to negotiation, but will not exceed 2.50% of assets under management. Fees are calculated and paid quarterly in arrears or in advance. The fixed rate for creating financial plans is $1,500, with significant plan updates costing $750. These fees are also negotiable. Clients may be billed directly or authorize AFM to deduct fees from their accounts.
