About This Firm
Hartford Funds Management Company (HFMC) provides discretionary investment advisory services to SEC-registered open-end investment companies, including mutual funds and exchange-traded funds, and 529 Plans. HFMC also offers non-discretionary security recommendations through model portfolios to Program Sponsors.
Fee Structure
HFMC receives fees for its services to Hartford Funds, including investment management and administrative services. These fees are negotiated and approved by the Hartford Funds’ Board of Directors / Trustees and are generally based on a stated percentage of the Fund’s average daily net assets. Advisory fees paid to HFMC for its Model Portfolio Strategies are agreed to between HFMC and the Program Sponsor. There are no advisory fees paid to HFMC for its Asset Allocation Model Portfolios; however, HFMC receives the advisory fees for the underlying Hartford Funds that are used within these models.
