About This Firm
Balefire provides comprehensive asset management and financial planning services to individuals, high-net-worth individuals, pension and profit-sharing plans, charitable organizations, trusts, businesses, partnerships, corporations, and other similar entities. Balefire tailors its advisory services to the individual needs of its clients by following a consistent process of goal setting, discovery, risk assessment, financial planning, portfolio development, asset management, and monitoring. Balefire also provides discretionary fiduciary services to qualified retirement plans and pension plans as a codified Investment Manager, as defined by ERISA.
Fee Structure
Fees for asset management, financial planning, and corporate solutions are negotiable based on the scope and complexity of services. Asset management fees are calculated as a percentage of assets under management. Financial planning fees are contracted on an hourly, project, or flat-fee basis. Corporate solutions fees for established plans range from 0.05% to 0.50%, while start-up plans range from $5,000 to $7,500 annually. A platform fee of 0.25% is assessed to clients for portfolio accounting, modeling, and reporting services, but not for Corporate Solutions clients.
