Cresap Inc. is an investment advisor and introducing broker-dealer. They manage client assets through Wells Fargo Clearing Services, primarily on a non-discretionary basis using the Asset Advisor and Custom Choice programs. Fee Structure
Fees are negotiable between the advisor and client and are based on the value of the account. For non-discretionary accounts, fees are typically at or below 1.5% for Asset Advisor and at or below 1.2% for Custom Choice. For discretionary accounts (PIM), fees are typically at or below 2%. Fees are deducted quarterly. Some accounts may pay transaction commissions instead of a flat fee. There are no custody or inactivity charges, but there may be exchange fees and other regulatory fees. Cresap Inc. also receives a portion of the fees charged by Wells Fargo for cash sweep programs.
