The KIS program fee covers KIS's services, BNY Mellon Advisors' money manager fee, and Pershing's clearing broker services. The maximum annual fee is 1.40% for the first $1,000,000 and 1.00% for amounts over $1,000,000. KIS's program fees are negotiable, but will never exceed the stated maximums.
